DATA CONTROL

Delete what
you no longer need.

Practical steps for local source removal, support-data requests and external-account distinctions.

Important distinction: GhostStream Player does not create its own in-app account in the current standalone build. “Provider Login” connects to a third-party service account; removing it from the app does not close that account. Accounts for any separate website service must be handled under that service’s own process.

Remove one saved service

  1. Open GhostStream Player.
  2. Go to Saved Sources and locate the source.
  3. Choose its removal or delete option and confirm.
  4. For a provider login, the app removes its saved password from Apple Keychain and deletes that source’s library metadata cache.

Other preferences, favorites and playback history may remain. Removing the saved source does not delete your external provider account.

Remove other app data

Remove sources before uninstalling when possible. You may delete GhostStream Player from your device to remove its application container and most local app data. Because iOS Keychain entries may persist across reinstallations, do not assume uninstalling alone deletes every credential: remove saved provider sources in the app first. If you need help clearing other local settings, contact support.

Request deletion of information held by support

Email [email protected] with the subject “GhostStream Data Deletion Request.” Describe the support correspondence or other data you want removed, using the email address you previously contacted us from if possible. We will review the request and respond with the next steps, subject to information we must retain under applicable law. Do not email passwords or access tokens.

Delete a provider or website account

Contact your third-party stream provider directly to delete its account. For an account or subscription offered through ghoststream.io outside the standalone Player app, email [email protected] and identify the account or service. This support-page bundle does not itself perform or automate account deletion.
